Here are some resources on supporting individuals and information on equality, diversity and inclusion issues and how to address them.

Support at Royal Holloway
- Wellbeing Team: Find support on various issues.
- RH Be Heard: Report your concern, resolve your complaint, challenge misconduct.
- For students: RH Harassment Information page.
- For staff: Bullying and Harassment Information page & Dignity at Work short guide on the college policy and how to report complaints. These should be reported to your line manager (e.g. Head of Department), or the Director of Human Resources.
Schemes/Info at the Psychology Department, RHUL
- Undergraduate Research Bursary Scheme (Calls typically at the start of Term 1 and Term 2)
- Increasing transparency and inclusions in research placements, through a standardised applications, feedback, and financial help.
- Undergraduate Student Essay Competition (Deadlines typically in June)
- Increasing recognition of excellent scholarship.
- Achievement and Aspiration Award
- Awarded annually by the department to a student from underrepresented groups for strong academic performance during the 2nd year of their degree.
- Sarah Parker Remond Undergraduate Scholarship – For Y1 students, deadline: 30 November 2022
- Supporting and increasing participation of black UK students (black or mixed black ethnic backgrounds).
- Sarah Parker Remond PhD Studentship (Deadlines typically in January)
- Increasing participation in PhDs of an under-represented group of PGR students, namely from black or mixed black ethnic backgrounds.

Schemes beyond RHUL
- Global Undergraduates Award: International award for undergraduate coursework. Involves submitting a piece of work that had a high grade. Last deadline: 27 May 2022
- British Neuroscience Association Scholars Programme: Supporting students and early career researchers from underrepresented ethnic groups to thrive in neuroscience, and to build a supportive community through networking opportunities, bursaries and mentorship. For final year UG, MSc or PhD students, or research assistants. Deadline: 11 December 2022
- L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Prizes: Postdoctoral and senior researcher prizes
- Royal Society Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship: Fellowship for postdoctoral scientists requiring a flexible working pattern due to personal circumstances (caring responsibilities and/or health-related conditions).
- Max Planck Institute Lisa Meitner Excellence Program: “to recruit and promote exceptionally qualified female scientists” for tenure track positions at Max Planck Institutes.
