Decolonising and Diversifying the Curriculum

The Psychology Department’s EDI and THESIS teams have been working towards decolonising and diversifying our curriculum through a multiyear project, in co-creation with students. One key output from this was producing an infographic and practical guide to support lecturers plan their teaching with EDI in mind. Lecturers are encouraged to Think DRAC: Diverse perspectives; Representation; Accessibility; and Communication, to ensure that our teaching materials and practices are aligned with our commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive curriculum.
